Balfour Fm:
LITHOLOGY = Base (Oudeburg member) consists of fining-upward sandstone-dominated sequences, the middle (Barberskrans Member) is dominantly argillaceous. Near the top the formation changes from mudrock sequences (Palingkloof member) to more siltstone-rich with numerous clay chip-breccia lenses.
CALIBRATION = 40% up in the Tartarian.
